"dis/play" visual arts project
"dis/play" is an exciting visual arts project for the Ansteys Kids, children who live the Ansteys Building. UAP together with Portia Malatjie and visual arts organisation, Assemblage, are enabling these inner-city children to learn more about the visual arts.
Children are currently in workshops, where they are learning basic art skills, such as drawing and painting. After the workshops are completed, the kids will then pair up with professional artists to create works of art. These will then go on exhibtion at GoetheonMain in July/Aug 2012.
